I.myss Cell. 5 and Flower's Liquid Eyeliner

Hello all~

Today I will be doing a little review on two products! One is I.myss's Cell. 5 Multi Cleansing Foam and the other is Flower's On Your Mark Eyeliner!

First up for review, I.myss's Cell. 5 Multi Cleansing Foam

I received two free sample packets of Korean brand I.myss's Cell 5. Multi Cleansing Foam some time ago when I bought a cosmetic online I think. It was only recently that I decided to try it though.

The sample packet apparently it features K-pop group 2AM on it.
"A new concept skincare line which the naturally fermented cellulose forms moisturized screen to make the skin moist."
The back of the packet~

Product placed directly on my skin

Product smoothed onto my skin

When I opened the packet and put the product onto my skin, it was kinda chunky. Smoothing it over my skin didn't quite get rid of the lumps of product. I don't know if the bottled product has this lumpy consistency or if it is just the sample packets I got. I couldn't quite place my finger on the smell of the product... my boyfriend smelled it and told me it smells a lot like watermelon! I kind of agree, though it smells like a slightly off watermelon, haha

After massaging it into my face, my skin instantly felt softer, and when I rinsed it off, my face felt totally squeaky clean! Makeup comes off so easily with this product and it also cuts through oil really well.

Over all, I wasn't sure about the chunky/lumpy consistency, but I didn't mind it either. The smell was okay- I didn't hate it but I didn't like it either. But the end results of super clean and soft feeling skin is worth it! I'm seriously looking into buying the full product because of how well it works~

The second product up for review is Flower's On Your Mark Liquid Eyeliner
The packaging is simple and features a pastel rose~

Flower is a new brand by Drew Barrymore featuring pastels and natural looks. The products are made in the USA and are not tested on animals

I've been looking for a good felt-tipped eyeliner kind of like Dolly Wink's eyeliner pen when I saw this at Walmart (the only place you can get Flower products, apparently.) It was around $7.

When I opened it, the tip was white and there was so eyeliner ink/fluid on it. You have to press the tip against your skin or something to get the eyeliner to flow. Took me awhile to figure this out haha

Once it is flowing, this eyeliner pen is perfect! The pen eyeliners I have tried before tend to have stiff/hard felt tips but this one is nice and soft. You can easily vary the line thickness and thinness. I love it! I will definitely repurchase this.

I'll end this post with an Instagram pic that I purikura'd.

Birthday dinner, Lacura night cream review

OK, as you guys may well know, I just turned 22 on March 20th. I don't feel much older, haha. I worked on my birthday, so I celebrated on a different day. I celebrated one day with my family, and one with my friends. My friends and I just hung out at ordered pizza, and had cupcakes. We also played Disney Scene-It because we're so cool. I lost

I went out to dinner with my family at this amazing Asian buffet. There were so many different kinds of food Time for food spam, haha~

My aunt's plate.
My plate, they even had all you can eat sushi, so I got some veggie sushi and tofu sushi.

Went again a few days later and got these awesome red bean paste dumplings. I love bean paste~

The interior of the place is really nice~!

After eating out, I went to an Aldi next store. I was just there to pick up some fruit since they were having a sale (got a giant cantelope for 99 cents!! ) . I ran into their brand of skin care products, and they have a line called 'Lacura'. Lacura has a night cream with retinol and Q10 in it, and it was only $3.99 I bought it thinking 'what the heck' but also though it might be no good or filled with cheap ingredients that don't work. I looked online and it has such good reviews! Apparently it beat 2000 products in blind tests, including top brands and expensive products. Just Google "Lacura Night Cream Reviews"!

Another great thing about this cream- I've been using it for probably 5 nights now and my skin hasn't broken out at all. This is very good because I've got super acne prone skin. My skin also feels soooo soft afterwards, and the scent of this cream is very springy. To be honest, the scent reminds me of daffodils, lol. I love this stuff. And at $3.99 a bottle, how can you go wrong? This cream definitely gets my seal of approval.

Official description:

It's easily absorbed, helping slow skin aging, correct lines and wrinkles and protect against aging environmental factors for long-lasting regenerative effects and smooth, supple skin."

Nice Weather

I'll start this off with... "omg, the weather has been SO nice!" It's been in the upper 60s to 80F degrees for the past half a week or so, and looking at the forecast, it seems like it will continue to be wonderful! Because of the pleasant weather, I went out and took some pics of my newer ball jointed doll, Cerelia (a Bobobie March). Here's a couple of the pictures:

I also recently purchased some face care products, both involving foam~! One is Acne Free's Oil-Free All-Day Acne Control Leave on Foam.

Product description:

"Acne Free Clear Skin Treatments Oil Free All-Day Acne Control, contains 5% Continuous Release Micro-Benzoyl Peroxide Leave on Foam. Shine Control 12 hour clearing. Non Sticky. Fast absorbing. Kills 99% of acne bacteria on contact and keeps working for up to 12 hours."

It's nice because it features a pump and the product comes out as a foam! It also has 5% micro benzoyl peroxide. Regular bp tends to feel kind of grainy, but this goes on very nicely and smoothly, so it doesn't make my makeup look funny. 5 stars~!

The other product is Noxema's Clean Blemish Control Foaming Wash
Product description:

"Clean Blemish Control Foaming Wash, created specially for Adult skin, deep cleans to help treat and prevent blemishes while restoring skin's moisture balance.  Skin is left beautifully clear and feeling moisturized."

I love this foaming wash so far! The smell is sweet, almost like something berry-ish? This wash is excellent at removing my makeup, so many other ones I've tried have left some makeup residue on my face. This one also leaves my face feeling moisturized. I also like how this wash is formulated for adults with blemishes/acne. 5 stars, I love this cleanser.

So far I have been using both products for about a week, and my face looks a lot smoother and I seem to be having less breakouts.

I'll leave some photos here of my past week or two~ (which has been very busy and tiresome, lol.)

Mm, OFK's strawbery aloe drink. Served up in a retro Care Bear glass (seriously, it's from the 80s pizza hut promo, my aunt gave this glass to me~!) I've also been drinking the peach and mango varieties~ Aloe drink =
Hibachi chicken with steamed rice and veggies from a local Japanese restaurant~

Spur of the moment nail polish.

Chocolate horn/coronet I got on the left, and a cannoli (I think?) that my dad got at the local international market. The coronet was sooooo good.

Anyway, that's it for this post. Now I should go shower and possibly take a walk while it's so beautiful out~! (My birthday is tomorrow, too! )

Job and reviews

I haven't blogged in awhile because I've been busy since I recently got a job~! I've been trying to get one for a long time now. The economy has been bad though so it has been really hard for a lot of people to find a job. I'm a cashier, whoo.

Me in my interview outfit

So far it's been tough because I work 8 hour days for the most part, 4 days a week. Today I only work four later on. It's not just standing and cashiering all day long though, it's also lifting heavy objects for customers. I end up feeling so tired at the end of the day.  In any case, it's great to finally have a job~! I work on my birthday though (3/20).

Which reminds me...my birthday! I can't believe that I will be 22 in less than 2 weeks. People are always shocked enough to hear that I'm 21, they always think I'm so much younger.  笑 I have no idea what I'm going to do for my birthday...probably just hang out with my close group of friends~

Anyway, I bought a few things recently, I guess I'll review them~!

First up, Vaseline's Moisturizing Bath Beads enriched in Silk Protein. I got the "Soft Petal" fragrance.

From the back of the box:

"Step into a luxuriously fragrant bath experience that softens your skin. Emerge with a relaxed body and renewed spirit. The romantic soft petal scent combines hints of rose, tuberose, and gardenia. Vaseline Intensive Care Moisturizing Bath Beads soften and condition your skin through a Silk Protein enriched formula that also contains a special Skin Softening Complex."

I liked that these bath beads are very affordable. I can't remember exactly how much they were when I got them a few weeks ago, but something like 2-3 dollars. The scent is lovely too! I even poured a small amount into a small cup as a potpourri-type of thing for my room. It smells so good. It definitely has a nice floral smell with hints of rose. It definitely leaves your skin feeling nice and soft! It didn't change the water color though. You can get this at many places such as Walmart.

I also bought Pond's new bio-hydratante dual cleansing lotion. According to the bottle it is dermatologist-tested, won't clog pores, and is hypoallergenic. I use it to remove makeup and moisturize my face. I have acne-prone skin and this hasn't seemed to give me any breakouts. At first when you apply it, it feels pretty oily, but then after a few minutes it drys and your skin feels soft and smooth without any oily feeling! It removes makeup wonderfully. It is also very cool to look at in the bottle, because the upper clear liquid must be some sort of oil, and the lower part is a water-based liquid. I will get this again!
