Geo Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown

Hello everyone~! As promised, here is the post for my review on Tsubasa Masuwaka's Princess Mimi lenses in Chocolate Brown.

I purchased these from Pinky Paradise. Sorry, I don't have a photo of the lenses in their original vial this time. Photos in this review are from summer 2012. So late on this review

The basics:
 Diameter: 15.0mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 year disposal
Photo with one lens in:

Both lenses in:

Indoor lighting:

Outdoor lighting:

Comfort level: Pretty comfortable. They were a little odd feeling at first but then they soon adjusted to my eyes and were fine. Noticed a slight blur of brown color on the edge of of my vision from time to time from the lenses.

Color: The color is okay, the brown doesn't quite go far enough in to cover my blue eyes so they look kinda... greyish brown? It's kind of a neat effect regardless. Overall I like them and I like how the limbal ring is darker and makes my eyes appear larger.

Overall: These are decent lenses and I like the pattern and color. Fairly comfortable lenses~! 4/5 due to the color/pattern not working with my blue eyes as well as expected, though they still look nice.

Lens Review: Geo Princess Mimi in Apple Green

Hello lovelies~
Today I will be reviewing Tsubasa Masuwaka's Geo Princess Mimi lenses in Apple Green!

Pinky Paradise was having a anniversary special a few weeks ago in which all colors of Tsubasa Masuwaka's Geo Princess Mimi lenses were half off! I couldn't resist~ I've always wanted to see what my eyes look like brown, so I ordered them in Chocolate Brown. When they arrived, I got the Apple Green color instead of the Chocolate Brown color. I wrote an e-mail to Pinky Paradise telling them about the issue, and they replied that they would send the Chocolate Brown lenses right away, so I got to keep the Apple Green pair! This turned out pretty interesting as I got to try a color I wouldn't normally buy.

So anyway... on with the review~!

The basics:

Diameter: 15.0mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 year disposal

Photo with both in:

Comfort level:
These lenses are quite comfortable! I wore them for 7 hours straight and only used eye drops once and they hardly bothered me! I found them even more comfortable than the Geo Nudy lenses, which is odd because these have a larger diameter.

Color:
The color is wonderful! My natural blue color was covered by the green, and the lenses blended well even with the small brownish ring near the center of the lenses.

Enlarging effect:
The limbal ring is large and dark, so it definitely makes my eyes look bigger. The lenses have a diameter of 15.0mm so they're fairly large.

Overall:
I love these lenses! They're very wearable and definitely have a nice enlarging effect. I never knew green eyes would look so good on me. I rate these lenses a 5/5~!

Here's a full photo of me with them on~

And as a bonus, here's an image of the Popteen April 2012 cover with Tsubasa Masuwaka wearing these lenses in Apple Green!

Geo Nudy Blue Review

Hi everyone~
It's been such a long time since I posted I've been working hard, busy with life, trips, etc.! I still have to post about my big weekend in late April at ACen and in Chicago, but I haven't gotten all the pictures for that post ready yet, so it'll have to wait.

Anyway! About 2 weeks ago I ordered some contacts from Pinky Paradise. I ordered Tsubasa Masuwaka's Geo Princess Mimi lenses in Chocolate Brown as well as Geo Nudy lenses in blue. This post is for a review on the Geo Nudy lenses~

I have blue eyes so I wanted some blue lenses that would enlarge my irises but still look natural and wearable for everyday life, so I chose Geo Nudy in blue. They have a water content of 38%, a diameter of 14.0mm, base curve of 8.6mm, and they are 1 year disposal lenses. I purchased both of my lenses without correction since I don't wear glasses or daily wear lenses for vision purposes.

These are my first contact lenses ever! It took me awhile to get the first lens in, and a little less time for the second lens. I put one in today for a photo with one lens in and none in the other eye, and it still takes me a bit of time to put them in. No issue with the lenses, I'm just a noob at putting them in. Once in they feel a bit odd and maybe even slightly painful, but that quickly disappears and it feels like I don't even have anything in my eye. Occasionally I'll remember it's there and feel it though. I'd say that these are fairly comfortable lenses!

The enlarging effect is noticable but subtle, and the color blends in very nicely with my naturally light blue eyes. The color on the lenses is a translucent blue. Here's a photo with natural lighting with one lens in my eye and the other eye with no lens for comparison:

And the following photo is with fluorescent lighting and both lenses in along with more make up plus lashes,  haha~

And some cam-whoring lol.
Alpaca! :D

Over all I like these lenses a lot for the natural effect and they match my eyes well.
